Job summary

Sungrow is seeking an Engineer for ESS Technical Solutions in the United States to deliver technical proposals, assist with pre‑sale activities, and support project execution up to commissioning. The role involves close coordination with HQ and owner’s engineers to ensure compliant, innovative ESS designs.

The candidate must have at least three years inRenewable energy, strong AutoCAD skills, and the ability to travel up to 50% for on‑site support. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the renewable industry.
• Direct experience in Product/System Engineering, Application Engineering, or Project Engineering is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field is required; a master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of UL9540/A, NFPA, NEC and Electrical Safety Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze ESS project RFP, intake form, specification and customer requests to determine technical delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to generate technical proposals and provide solutions.
• Support project execution including BOS design and EPC system-level design.
• Serve as a technical liaison for customers and internal teams to ensure alignment.
• Provide guidance on system design, testing and commissioning; develop and refine technical drawings.
• Travel with sales to provide technical support and demonstrate product advantages.
