Job summary

Sungrow North America is seeking an Electrical Engineer - BESS for a hybrid role out of Houston, TX. The engineer will join the service engineering team, performing field assignments, troubleshooting, and customer-facing support for solar inverters and energy storage systems.

The position requires strong problem solving, hands-on testing with PQA and oscilloscope, and collaboration with R&D in China. Travel up to 50% is expected, with safety and quality as top priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with R&D and QA for documentation and training.
• Prepare field reports and support technical proposals.
• Conduct site visits and analyze engineering problems; propose solutions.
