Spartan Title, New Western’s in‑house title and escrow subsidiary, seeks a Senior Escrow Accountant to own accounting, reconciliation, and reporting for escrow trust accounts across multiple states. The role is based in the Plano area with hybrid work flexibility and requires senior escrow/title accounting expertise for a fast-growing national operation.

New Western is a leading real estate investment marketplace operating in nearly 50 markets, known for a collaborative, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 5 years of escrow, trust, title, or banking accounting experience; multi-state title company experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of escrow/trust accounting regulations and ALTA Best Practices, including three-way reconciliation.
• Proficiency with digital closing, title, and escrow software platforms such as Qualia.
• Solid understanding of debits/credits and general ledger accounting; experience with NetSuite or another major ERP.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to handle high transaction volumes.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with confidentiality when handling client funds.

Responsabilités

• Record and reconcile escrow transactions across active files.
• Perform monthly three-way reconciliations per ALTA Best Practices and state trust fund rules.
• Complete bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage escrow accounts to ensure funds are held and distributed per closing docs.
