Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. seeks a Heat‑Treating Technician with Electrical Resistance experience to independently perform PWHT and preheat operations using ERHT. The role includes setting up, monitoring, and documenting heat cycles on piping, vessels, and weldments in field and shop environments.

Preferred candidates have experience in induction or combustion heat‑treating. Travel to client sites is expected, and safety, documentation, and QA/QC are integral to daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ERHT experience in industrial environments.
• Ability to read P&ID, isometric drawings, and equipment specs.
• Ability to lay out heat-treating blankets, insulation, and thermocouples with precision.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down electrical resistance heating systems.
• Execute PWHT and preheat activities per procedures and codes.
• Install and lay out heat-treat blankets, insulation, and thermocouples correctly.
• Program, monitor, and record temperature cycles with control units.
• Coordinate with welders, inspectors, and client representatives on-site.
• Maintain QA/QC records of heat cycles and equipment logs.
• Follow safety rules for electrical equipment and high temperatures.
• Train or mentor junior technicians as needed.
