Quest Diagnostics seeks a Senior Employee Relations Partner to lead ER across Michigan sites, advising managers, interpreting CBAs, and driving a compliant, engaged work climate.

This role blends leadership with hands-on guidance, mentoring ER Partners, conducting climate assessments, and guiding investigations while partnering with HR, Legal, and business leaders. Hybrid role—onsite 3 days weekly with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years progressive HR experience focused on Employee Relations.
• Minimum 3 years in a unionized environment with CBAs and grievances.
• Leadership experience through mentoring or supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and NLRA.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex employee and labor relations issues with guidance to managers.
• Interpret CBAs and apply contract terms consistently.
• Lead grievance administration and support contract negotiations.
• Coach managers on performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct internal investigations and advise on escalation.
• Mentor ER Partners and deliver ER training.
