Job summary

Amgen in the United States is seeking a Staff Relations Manager to provide expert employee relations guidance to managers and staff in our Operations function, with a hybrid on-site schedule and a minimum on-site presence of three days per week.

You will conduct impartial HR investigations, advise on performance management and disciplinary actions, and collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Learning & Development to deliver trainings and best practices across sites including North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with relevant Staff Relations experience
• Bachelor’s with 4+ years Staff Relations experience
• Associate’s with 8 years Staff Relations experience
• High School diploma/GED with 10 years Staff Relations experience

Responsibilities

• Provide expert employee relations guidance to managers and staff in Amgen’s Operations function.
• Conduct thorough HR investigations and document findings clearly.
• Advise on performance management, discipline, and involuntary terminations.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Learning & Development to deliver trainings and best practices.
• Track and manage cases in the company’s case management system and support process improvements.
