Job summary

Form Energy seeks an experienced Employee Relations leader to build and run ER as a new function. Reporting to the SVP, People, you will define strategy, create playbooks, and manage a complex caseload from day one. This role blends advisory work with hands-on investigations in a fast-paced environment.

Based in the Weirton, WV / Somerville, MA area, this hybrid role requires being onsite four days a week and travel to all locations. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive Employee Relations experience with direct investigations.
• Experience building or scaling an ER function, program, or infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of federal and state employment law and documentation standards.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and empathy in high-stakes situations.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a high-volume ER caseload including harassment, discrimination, and performance disputes.
• Design and stand up ER function, processes, tooling, and documentation standards.
• Advise senior leaders on ER risk and precedent with data-driven insights.
• Coach managers to address ER issues early with real-time guidance.
• Develop policies to ensure fair practice and legal compliance.
• Build reporting to track case trends, cycle times, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Legal, EHS, People Partners, and other COEs.
