Job summary

Astound Human Resources Manager position partners with leaders on performance, conflicts, conduct, and discipline while maintaining positive employee relationships and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and Astound policies.

You will serve as a primary ER contact, coach managers, conduct investigations, and advise leadership on corrective actions, with a focus on reducing risk and improving the employee experience. Travel to support market needs is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in employee relations in a multi-state environment.
• Deep knowledge of US federal and state employment laws incl. Title VII, ADA, FMLA.
• Proven expertise in investigations and resolutions.
• Experience with remote/hybrid work environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for employee relations, coaching managers.
• Conduct complex workplace investigations and provide resolution recommendations.
• Advise management on ER issues using independent judgement.
• Develop and implement performance improvement plans.
• Collaborate with legal and leadership on corrective actions.
• Track data and trends to drive process improvements.
