Job summary

Seagate Technology in Bloomington, MN is hiring Engineering Technicians for the Wafer Fab Cleanroom. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on photo, plate, and test equipment, reading schematics, and applying PM procedures.

You will collaborate with Process, RD and Manufacturing, supporting preventive maintenance programs and training. The role requires a technical background in semiconductors and the ability to work a 12-hour night shift with shift differential for B-Shift.

Qualifications

• Experience with MS Office and maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of wafer fabrication equipment.
• Proficiency with electronic circuits, PLCs, robotics and ability to read schematics.
• Semiconductor or related industry experience preferred.
• Able to work a 12-hour night shift (B Shift schedule described in posting).

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Photo, Plate, and Test equipment in Wafer fabrication.
• Knowledge of electronic circuits, PLCs, Robotics and able to read schematics.
• Follow and complete PM instructions and maintain preventive maintenance programs.
• Provide guidance to other team members as needed and take initiative on assignments.
