Job summary

Seagate Technology in Bloomington, MN is hiring an Engineering Specialist III for a 12-hour night shift (B-Shift) onsite. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Wafer Fab equipment, interact with Process, RD and Manufacturing, and support preventive maintenance programs.

The role requires knowledge of electronics, PLCs, and robotics, with ability to read schematics and work with cross-functional teams. Semiconductor experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MS Office experience
• Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Photo, Plate, and Test equipment in Wafer fabrication
• Knowledge of electronic circuits, PLCs, Robotics and able to read schematics
• Semiconductor or related industry experience
• Must be able to work a 12 hour night shift: B Shift - Mon Tue Wed and every other Thu 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Photo, Plate, and Test equipment in Wafer fabrication
• Knowledge of electronic circuits, PLC's, Robotics and able to read schematics
• Able to follow and complete PM instructions
• Maintains, repairs and troubleshoots equipment to meet company standards and minimize downtime
• Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs and procedures
• Administers training programs to ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance
• Works on assignments requiring judgment and initiative and recommends solutions
• Determines methods and procedures on new assignments
• May provide guidance to other team members
• Completes tasks in creative and effective ways
