Job summary

Seagate Technology seeks a Supervisor - Equipment Maintenance to lead a team of 9-17 technicians in a wafer fabrication clean room. You will manage performance, schedule workloads, and drive improvements to downtime using Six Sigma and Lean methods.

The role is on-site at Normandale/ Bloomington, US, with a base wage range and comprehensive benefits. You will mentor staff and ensure adherence to procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Management experience with skilled equipment technicians in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Proven ability to meet commitments and adapt to changing priorities.
• BA/BS in Management or Engineering, or AAS degree.
• 5+ years in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 9-17 equipment technicians and conduct performance reviews.
• Schedule workload and allocate resources to complete PMs and repairs.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for down events.
• Collaborate with OEMs and vendors to support tool downtime and spare parts.
• Promote continuous improvement and inclusive team culture.
• Ensure a safe work environment in partnership with EH&S.
• Oversee training programs and ensure procedures are followed.
• Oversee management of tools and related equipment.
• A Shift: Mon-Wed, every other Thursday, 6:30am-6:30pm.
