Gallagher Bassett is hiring a Senior Claims Specialist for Employment Practices Liability (EPL) claims. This role handles the full claim life cycle, including coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, and settlement, with licensing/training supported as needed.

The position offers fully remote work and requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of claims experience. JD is highly preferred for potential attorney pathways. Strong negotiation and client advocacy are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 5+ years of related claims experience.
• JD is highly preferred for preferred attorney track.
• Licensed in applicable states or able to obtain licenses per local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage moderately complex Employment Practices Liability (EPL) claims from open to close.
• Analyze coverage, conduct investigations, evaluate exposure, and resolve claims.
• Prepare reserve and settlement authority requests for client and carrier approval.
• Negotiate settlements with clients, attorneys, and public adjusters.
• Collaborate with carriers and outside experts as needed.
