Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Senior Claims Manager for Employment Practice Liability, a fully remote position focused on managing EPL claims. This role requires considerable expertise in employment law, risk management, and strategic negotiation skills to evaluate claims effectively.

The successful candidate will communicate and collaborate with legal leadership, manage claims from start to resolution, and provide detailed reports on significant exposure cases. A Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of relevant experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, HR or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10 or more years of employment law, risk management, or insurance experience related to employment practices.
• Superior communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and resolve coverage issues for Employment Practices claims.
• Investigate claims through various forms of communication.
• Present claims trends to leadership and discuss exposures.
