Providence Health & Services is seeking a Senior Claims Manager for Employment Practice Liability (EPL) in a fully remote position. This role involves direct handling of EPL claims, requiring 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law or HR.

The successful candidate will evaluate claims, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with all aspects of employment law. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 10+ years employment law, risk management or insurance experience related to employment practices.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Effectively evaluate and resolve coverage issues for Employment Practices claims.
• Investigate claims through correspondence and personal contacts.
• Present claims and trends to Claims and Legal Leadership.
• Analyze information to determine ultimate exposure to the organization.
• Negotiate and resolve claims within provided authority.
• Provide required reports to leadership on significant exposure cases.
• Report on cases going to trial and attend as needed.
