Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an experienced Epic Clinical Information System Analyst III to advance our Epic program. You will lead complex workflows, design, build, test, and optimize Epic across boundaries, collaborating with operational leaders and vendors.

You will mentor analysts, drive standardization, and coordinate major upgrades while ensuring high quality, patient-safety, and regulatory compliance. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, information systems or related field; advanced education preferred.
• 7-8 years in clinical information systems, including complex implementations in an EHR.
• Epic certification in assigned application(s) required or pursued within timeframe.
• Experience leading large workstreams with cross-functional teams; no formal supervisory role required.

Responsibilities

• Leads advanced analysis, workflow design, builds, tests, and maintains Epic functionality.
• Resolves high-impact incidents; conducts root cause analysis and coordinates responders.
• Plans large/complex projects, defining scope, milestones, risks, and testing strategy.
• Serves as senior liaison with operational leaders, Epic reps, end users, vendors, and teams.
• Establishes standards for design, testing, change control, and production support.
• Mentors analysts, coordinates work, and leads knowledge transfer and training.
• Evaluates capabilities and regulatory requirements to improve Epic solutions.
• Provides concise status reports and goes-live/upgrade/on-call support when needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
