Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an Epic Clinical Information System Analyst I to join the Epic Program Department, supporting clinical workflows and end-user education. You will analyze needs, configure Epic applications, provide end-user support, and document changes to ensure alignment with business goals.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, Epic training/certification, and willingness to travel or work extended hours as needed. Full-time, day shift, M–F.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare, information systems, business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of direct clinical, healthcare operations, information systems, application support, or related experience.
• Epic training and certification requirements within company timeframe; certification must be maintained.
• Current clinical licensure is preferred when relevant to the assigned application.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes defined operational and clinical workflow needs; configures, builds, tests, and validates Epic functionality.
• Serves as a support contact; responds to end-user questions and escalates issues as needed.
• Identifies and implements approved system changes with testing and validation.
• Collaborates with SMEs, end users, Epic reps and other teams to align functionality with business needs.
• Maintains accurate documentation and contributes to knowledge articles and SOPs.
• Participates in go-live readiness, upgrades, and scheduled/unscheduled support activities.
