Job summary

University Hospital is seeking a self-directed professional to plan, implement and support clinical information systems. You will analyze, test and implement procedures, develop training materials, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

The role focuses on planning, documentation, user interaction and coordination across IT and clinical areas to deliver successful system deployments and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; health-related preferred.
• Three years information systems experience; patient care env preferred.
• Must complete Epic certification within 6 months of training.
• Ability to manage and assist in project work plans.
• Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with policy adherence and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides analysis, design and support of hospital systems, including testing, training, implementation and ongoing support.
• Documents, communicates and assists in problem determination and resolution.
• Maintains detailed project plans and develops training materials.
• Collaborates with end users, vendors and departments to gather requirements.
• Assists in software/hardware installation and ensures IT standards are met.
• Develops training documentation and delivers user education to improve system usage.
• Plans technical resources and optimizes project team structure for implementation.
• Delivers satisfactory project-level service and contributes to departmental policies.
