Job summary

UMC Health System seeks an IT Application Analyst to support Epic and related applications across departments. You will implement, maintain, and optimize systems, collaborating with IT teams and end users to deliver cohesive solutions.

Responsibilities include designing and testing Epic and third‑party apps, validating workflows, and ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget while maintaining data integrity and SLA adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree recommended.
• Experience with Epic EHR preferred; familiarity with other applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test Epic and third‑party applications for implementation and ongoing support.
• Perform comprehensive testing and document testing progress and issues.
• Facilitate workflow design and validation with end users.
• Assess workflows through user interviews/shadowing and document findings.
• Improve and optimize workflows; ensure design/build and integration testing meet best practices.
• Follow change control processes and communicate status updates; support SLA compliance.
• Participate in on‑call coverage and adapt to scheduled/unscheduled downtime.
