University Hospital in Newark, NJ is seeking a self-directed Information Systems Analyst to plan, develop, implement and support clinical information systems. You will analyze, test, train, and support complex hospital IT projects under policy and regulatory guidelines.

The role requires Epic experience, strong communication, and solid project planning skills, with compensation aligned to New Jersey Pay Transparency laws and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related discipline or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in information systems.
• Must complete Epic certification within 6 months of training.
• Ability to manage project work plans and collaborate with users and vendors.
• Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Provides analysis, design and support of hospital systems including testing, training, implementation and ongoing support.
• Documents and communicates problem determination and resolution.
• Updates and maintains detailed project plans.
• Interacts with end users, vendors and other areas to gather requirements.
• Assists in installing software/hardware; ensure standards are met.
• Develops and maintains training materials and documentation.
• Delivers effective user training to increase proper system usage.
• Plans resources and supports project team organization for successful implementation.
• Works with user community to deliver satisfactory project-level service.
