Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a seasoned IT professional to support the Epic platform and related applications. You will design and implement solutions for complex business needs, coordinate cross-team projects, and ensure successful go-lives and ongoing support in a healthcare IT environment.

The role requires a strong background in Epic, system analysis, and business process mapping, with emphasis on collaboration with clinical service lines and IT partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 5 years in IT or clinical environment with working on moderate to complex business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops technical and/or non-technical solutions to moderate to complex business needs by gathering information, evaluating systems, and coordinating development of new functionality.
• Assists with conversion and operational support planning for multiple projects; may manage training.
• Serves as liaison between business and IT to provide technical solutions meeting user needs and ensure alignment with strategic direction.
