Job summary
Advocate Health is seeking an experienced IT professional to design and implement Epic-based solutions across its enterprise platforms. You will gather business requirements, map processes, and coordinate multi-team design efforts to deliver new functionality on time.
The role expects at least 5 years in IT or a clinical setting, EPIC software expertise, and strong communication with clinicians and vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
- 5 years IT or clinical environment with process mapping and requirements gathering.
- EPIC certification within 6 months.
- Proficient in EPIC and related applications.
Responsibilities
- Designs and develops solutions for moderate to complex business needs by gathering and reviewing information.
- Assists with conversion and operational planning; may train staff.
- Liaises between business and IT to deliver technical solutions and ensure alignment.
- Communicates with users about requirements and system capabilities; coordinates design teams.
- Supports and troubleshoots Epic and other applications as needed.
