Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an IT professional for Epic-focused analysis and system optimization. This role involves coordinating with user groups, vendors, and IT teams to deliver solutions across Epic and related applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 5 years in IT or clinical environment with solving moderate to complex business processes.
• Proficient in EPIC and other applications, operating systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops solutions to moderate to complex business needs by gathering data and coordinating with IT staff.
• Assists with conversion and operational planning for multiple projects and may train staff.
• Identify how requirements affect multiple application areas and coordinate with design teams to avoid conflicts.
• Communicate with users about project requirements, impact, training and system functionality.
• Serve as liaison between business and IT to provide technical solutions meeting user needs.
