Advocate Health is seeking an experienced EPIC IT Analyst for Enterprise Corporate - Pharmacy Applications. The role spans technical and clinical workflow analysis, requirements gathering, and coordinating cross-functional teams to implement new Epic and related applications.

You will partner with clinical service lines, IT, and vendors to deliver solutions, support conversions, and maintain data integrity across healthcare systems.

Competenze

• Obtain EPIC certification within 6 months and maintain annual educational requirements for EPIC certification(s).
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field
• Typically requires 5 years in IT or clinical environment with experience mapping business processes and requirements
• Proficient in using EPIC and other applications, operating systems and databases
• Proficient at specifying user requirements, interacting with technical, health care staff and vendors, and documenting user needs
• Strong project management skills with ability to use project management software
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, balance multiple tasks, be detail oriented and set priorities
• Ability to effectively handle customer contacts and work with health care application users, vendors, and technical professionals
• Must sit up to 80% of each workday; fine hand manipulation for keyboard
• Must travel as needed; normal office environment
• Must operate all equipment necessary to perform duties

• Designs and develops technical and/or non-technical solutions for Epic and 3rd party applications across business needs.
• Assists with conversion and operational support planning for multiple projects.
• Identifies impact of requirements on multiple application areas and recommends solutions.
• Acts as a liaison between business and IT to provide technical solutions.
• Evaluates vendor offerings and oversees development and maintenance tasks.
• Coordinates all aspects of system development, implementation, operation and maintenance.
