Job summary
Advocate Health is seeking an IT professional to support the Pharmacy Applications department. The role focuses on designing and implementing Epic-based solutions, coordinating cross-team projects, and ensuring alignment between clinical business needs and IT capabilities.
The candidate will drive analysis, planning, and training for go-live activities, while maintaining system integrity and user satisfaction in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
- 5 years in IT or clinical environment.
- EPIC certification within 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Designs and develops solutions to moderate to complex needs by gathering and reviewing information.
- Assists with conversion and project go-live planning and training where applicable.
- Identify how requirements affect multiple application areas and coordinate cross-team solutions.
- Work at high technical level across phases of systems analysis and support maintenance.
- Communicate with users and stakeholders about project requirements, updates and training.
- Serve as liaison between business and IT to meet user needs and ensure alignment.
- Advise on Epic platform capabilities, vendor offerings, and system integrity.
