Advocate Health is seeking an experienced IT professional to design, implement and support Epic-based solutions for the Pharmacy Applications at the Enterprise Corporate level. The role requires coordinating with clinical service lines and IT to meet evolving business needs, with responsibilities spanning analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of Epic and ancillary systems.

Formación

• EPIC certification within 6 months and ongoing maintenance.
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 5 years in IT or clinical environment with experience mapping business processes and documenting requirements.
• Proficient in using EPIC and other applications, operating systems and databases, including hardware, platform, connectivity and interfaces.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Designs and develops solutions to moderate to complex business needs by gathering and reviewing information, evaluating existing systems and proposing improvements across Epic and third-party applications.
• Assists with conversion and operational support planning for multiple projects and coordinates training as applicable.
• Liaises between clinical service lines, business units and IT to meet user needs and negotiate commitments from initial requirements to solutions.
• Provides guidance on Epic platform capabilities and vendor offerings, and supports development, implementation and maintenance tasks.
• Analyzes clinical operations to identify opportunities to automate processes and prepare detailed project plans, timelines and budgets.
