Job summary
Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Applications IT professional for the Enterprise Corporate team. The role focuses on designing and developing technical and non-technical solutions to meet clinical and business needs across Epic and third-party applications.
The candidate will lead analysis, design, configuration, testing, and maintenance activities, coordinating with business users and IT staff while ensuring system availability and data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
- Typically 5+ years in IT or clinical environment with work on moderate to complex business process mapping.
- Proficient in EPIC and other applications, operating systems and databases.
- Strong project management skills with ability to use project management software.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, balance multiple tasks and guide teammates.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, test and maintain applications and new functionalities.
- Coordinate development and implementation with users and IT staff.
- Act as liaison between clinical service lines, business units and IT.
- Explain application software functionality to users and address complex requirements.
