Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced IT Analyst for the Pharmacy Applications team. This full-time role focuses on designing and implementing solutions that support Epic systems and related workflows across a multi-state clinical environment.

The role requires strong business analysis skills, Epic proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision while coordinating with clinicians and IT staff.

Qualifications

• EPIC certification within 6 months and ongoing maintenance.
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 5 years in IT or clinical environment with mapping and requirements work.
• Proficient in using EPIC and other applications, operating systems and databases.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel for work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and clinical service line operations to identify opportunities to automate processes.
• Coordinate system development, implementation, and maintenance across Epic and third‑party apps.
• Communicate with users and IT staff on requirements, testing and training.
