Job summary

State of Washington seeks an experienced Senior Epic Application Analyst to join the FTAA IT team. The role focuses on Epic application analysis, configuration, and leadership across Epic implementations, including governance forums and partnerships with Epic Technical Services.

The ideal candidate will have Epic Certification, strong troubleshooting skills, and ability to mentor analysts while ensuring end-to-end Epic workflows from build through activation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Seven years of progressively responsible Epic application analysis, configuration, and implementation experience, including at least two years in a lead or senior capacity.
• Epic Certification required; certification in modules identified within 4 months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary support contact for assigned Epic applications, coordinating issues and guiding workflow design.
• Lead cross-application scenarios and coordinate with Epic Technical Services and external partners.
• Support integration testing strategy, acceptance criteria, and go-live readiness.
• Document root causes and resolutions to build institutional knowledge.
• Perform routine maintenance activities including certificate renewals.
