Job summary
State of Washington, Department of Social and Health Services, FTAA IT Application Development Senior Specialist, seeks an experienced Senior Epic Interface Analyst to configure and maintain Epic modules. You will translate clinical workflows into precise system designs and lead testing within the functional domain, while mentoring junior analysts and supporting go-live activities.
Epic Bridge Certification and hands-on experience with interface engines like Rhapsody and Corepoint are required,
Qualifications
- Current Epic Certification in one or more modules.
- Experience leading configuration design or build activities across an Epic implementation lifecycle.
- Ability to mentor analysts and provide technical guidance.
- Experience with go-live planning, testing, and post-activation support.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Epic EHR modules per design decisions.
- Translate workflows into precise system build specifications.
- Maintain build documentation and workflow diagrams.
- Lead sessions with clinical and program staff to elicit requirements.
- Analyze current/future workflows to identify gaps and improvements.
- Present design options to stakeholders.
- Conduct testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) and develop test scripts.
- Review test results and resolve defects before go-live.
- Resolve configuration issues and document root causes.
- Contribute to program-level planning for milestones and risk.
- Provide escalation path for complex issues.
