Job summary

The EPC Project Manager role manages all aspects of utility-scale solar projects from planning to risk management on a Harrisburg, IL jobsite with travel.

Lead and mentor the project team while ensuring schedule, cost and quality objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5-8 years field construction management experience, including supervisory skills.
• Leadership ability to manage a diverse remote team.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and Bluebeam Revu; CMiC a plus.
• Knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Strong scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating systems.
• Understanding of utility-scale PV plant construction and ISO interconnection sequences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee large labor crews; manage production forecasts.
• Develop safety plans and implement safety procedures.
• Oversee preparation of project billings and maximize cash flow.
• Present and negotiate change orders with owners.
• Negotiate subcontract and material purchases.
• Maintain project schedules and cost reporting.
• Mentor project team and ensure compliance with contract terms.
