Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee construction projects for solar, storage, and high‑voltage substation work. This role focuses on delivering complex programs on time and within budget, coordinating owner, architect, and subcontractor relations, and driving safety and quality across projects.

You will manage preconstruction activities, develop procedures, and supervise the project team to ensure contractual compliance and successful close-out with an enhanced fee where

Qualifications

• Field construction management experience (8-10 years, including supervisory skills).
• Leadership ability and strong sense of urgency.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Drafting and computer skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Thorough understanding of scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall management of construction projects to ensure successful completion.
• Estimate and establish budgets and contract price (GMP/Lump Sum).
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases.
• Set up and implement job procedures to ensure timely buyout, shop drawing approval and material delivery.
• Keep project on schedule and maintain timely reporting to management.
• Supervise project team and organize regular meetings with management and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and maintain documentation of significant events.
