Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking an EPC Project Engineer to support the jobsite team and manage project deliverables for profitability and schedule goals. The role is based on a jobsite in Illinois with travel required, reporting to project managers and participating in safety and quality processes.

The position involves coordination of drawings, logs, submittals, change orders, and cost documentation, with opportunities to gain experience across CPM scheduling and field operations within a national

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of construction-related experience, or equivalent internship.
• Field experience is a plus ( carpenter ).
• Basic understanding of construction cost accounting.
• Basic estimating and scheduling skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Effective organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend and document project meetings (minutes).
• Set up and maintain electronic filing system.
• Update and maintain drawings, specs and logs.
• Assist with preparation of CPM schedules and master CPM schedule.
• Maintain a site safety plan and pre-task planning process.
• Distribute documents to subcontractors and maintain logs.
• Review and transmit submittals; maintain submittal logs and procurement log.
• Perform expediting functions and code cost reports.
• Prepare and document extra work orders and change orders.
