Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with heavy industrial power plant expertise. Lead complex projects through planning, execution and commissioning with a focus on safety, schedule, and budget.

You will coordinate stakeholders, manage costs, and drive profitability. Responsibilities include defining scope, schedules, and budgets, preparing statements of work, reviewing change notices, and mentoring junior PMs while ensuring timely

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 13+ years of experience.
PMP, CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire.
Significant design-build/EPC project experience for heavy industrial power plants.

Responsibilities

Create project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
Prepare detailed statements of work with budgets and gain approvals.
Manage project costs and profitability.
Oversee client billings and ensure timely payments; approve subcontractor invoices.
Monitor project status, risks, and change management processes.
Communicate deadlines and milestones to project teams.
Coordinate submittals and reviews with agencies and engineers.
Mentor less experienced Project Managers and support teams.
Travel 10% or less as required.
