Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with significant heavy industrial power and power plant experience. You will define scope, schedules, and budgets, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure profitable project execution.

Responsibilities include managing cost controls, client billing, subcontractor payments, risk monitoring, and change management while mentoring junior PMs and coordinating with stakeholders to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures and budgets.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Reviews client billings and contract invoices; ensures timely payments.
• Monitors project risks and escalates as needed.
• Manages change using change protocols.
• Communicates deadlines and objectives to the project team.
• Prepares monthly reports and bid packages.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
