Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with significant experience in heavy industrial power and power plants. Responsibilities include creating project definitions, schedules, budgets, and managing costs for profitability.

You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, prepare work breakdown structures, manage change, and mentor junior PMs while delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Significant design-build / EPC experience with heavy industrial power/power plant clients.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Travel 10% or less.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Prepare statements of work with work breakdown structures.
• Manage project costs and profitability.
• Coordinate client billings and vendor invoices; ensure timely payments.
• Monitor risks and manage changes; escalate when needed.
• Communicate deadlines and assignments to the project team.
• Prepare monthly reports and bid packages.
