Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial heavy industrial power and power plant experience. You will develop definitions, schedules, and budgets, lead client communications, and manage costs and change control to safeguard project profitability.

Responsibilities include coordinating subprocesses, reviewing documents, guiding engineering, and mentoring junior PMs while ensuring timely project deliverables and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with budgets and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Prepares and reviews client billings and ensures timely payment; approves subcontractor invoices.
• Monitors project status, risks, and change management; escalates as needed.
• Communicates deadlines, assignments, and objectives to project team members.
• Prepares project schedule/timeline and in-house budgets by group responsibility.
• Leads meetings with stakeholders and coordinates submittals to agencies.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
