Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with heavy industrial power plant expertise to lead complex projects.

You will define scope, schedules, and budgets; manage costs and profitability; coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

Travel up to 10%, mentor junior PMs, and ensure timely billing and closeout while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in related field.
• 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• Certification: PMP/CCM/DBIA within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Prepare statements of work and budgets; obtain concurrence/approval.
• Manage project costs; ensure profitability.
• Review client billings and subcontractor invoices for timely payment.
• Monitor project status; escalate risks as needed.
• Coordinate and review change notices and contract modifications.
• Prepare monthly reports and bid packages; assist with closeouts.
• Mentor less experienced Project Managers.
