Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with extensive experience in heavy industrial power and power plants. You will create project definitions, schedules, and budgets, manage costs and profitability, and coordinate submittals and change control with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include preparing work breakdown structures, client billings, and monthly reports, while mentoring junior project managers and ensuring delivery on time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list)

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures (budgets) and obtains stakeholder concurrence.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Prepares monthly reports and client billings; ensures timely payments and approves invoices.
• Monitors project status and escalates risks as needed.
• Coordinates submittals to agencies and manages change using protocol.
• Prepares overall project schedule and in-house budgets by group responsibility.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
