Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with heavy industrial power experience to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex power plant projects in the U.S.

Candidates should have 13+ years of relevant experience, a PMP/CCM/DBIA or equivalent certification within 12 months, and a proven ability to deliver on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 13+ years of relevant experience.
• PM certification (PMP/CCM/DBIA) preferred within 12 months.
• Experience with design-build/EPC in heavy industrial power.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures (budgets) and gains concurrence and approval from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and is responsible for profitability.
• Reviews and approves subcontractor/vendor invoices to ensure timely payment to outside resources.
• Coordinates submittals to local/state/federal agencies; mentors less experienced Project Managers.
