Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial heavy industrial power plant experience. You will lead project definitions, schedules and budgets, and drive profitability across complex power projects.

You will coordinate with engineering teams, manage change, respond to RFIs, and mentor junior staff. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 13+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion to approved PM list.
• Strong experience in design-build/EPC in heavy industrial power/power plants.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedule, budgets and objectives for projects.
• Prepare statements of work with work breakdown structures and budgets; obtain stakeholder concurrence.
• Manage project costs and ensure profitability; monitor payments and subcontractor invoices.
• Lead progress reviews, risk escalation and change management; communicate deadlines to teams.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines for code reviews and problem resolution; manage submittals.
• Prepare monthly reports, bid packages and closeout documentation; mentor junior PMs.
