Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with significant experience in heavy industrial power / power plants. You will define projects, schedule, and budgets, and manage costs and profitability.

You will prepare statements of work, monitor progress, coordinate with agencies, and mentor junior PMs. A Bachelor’s degree and 13+ years of experience are required; PMP/ CCM or DBIA within 12 months is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months.
• Significant design-build / EPC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Prepares and reviews client billings and ensures timely payments; reviews subcontractor/vendor invoices.
• Monitors project status, risks, and change management; escalates as needed.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
