Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP/CCM/DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Significant design-build / EPC experience with heavy industrial power/power plant clients.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs to ensure profitability.
• Generates and reviews client billings and ensures timely payments from clients; approves subcontractor/vendor invoices.
• Monitors project status and escalates risks as appropriate.
• Manages project changes using change management protocols.
• Clearly communicates deadlines, assignments and objectives to the project team.
• Prepares overall project schedule/timeline and in-house budgets by group responsibility.
• Facilitates meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinates and reviews engineering deliverables and submittals.
• Supports engineering disciplines with code reviews and issue resolution.
• Monitors progress toward deliverables and schedules.
• Prepares and distributes contracts modifications and addendums.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
