Job summary

Zachry Group seeks a Senior Project Engineer/Manager for EPC Portfolio Performance & Analytics in Charlotte, NC. You will lead the development and continuous improvement of portfolio-level metrics, reporting systems, data governance, and business analytics across the Power EPC portfolio.

The role partners with Project Directors, Managers, Engineers, IT Analysts, and Construction to ensure timely, accurate project data for decision-making and improved delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering, PM, project controls, or project performance experience.
• Experience supporting large EPC projects.
• Demonstrated experience developing executive-level performance reporting.
• Advanced Excel and data analytics capability.
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve portfolio performance dashboards.
• Establish standardized KPIs across projects and ensure consistent methodologies.
• Monitor portfolio trends in schedule, cost, staffing, risk, and quality.
• Develop executive-level portfolio reports and action recommendations.
• Lead portfolio performance reviews monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Create automated reporting tools and BI dashboards.
• Support ad hoc analysis for executive leadership.
• Own data governance standards and reporting compliance.
