Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking an experienced Field Safety Manager to lead safety programs at project sites in North Carolina. The role focuses on investigations, audits, onboarding, regulatory training, and safety program administration across field operations.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of Safety Management experience in an EPC environment, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with project teams and corporate safety staff.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of Safety Management experience.
• Experience in EPC.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage root cause investigations, site audits, new hire orientations, regulatory training, Heart of Zachry Program (or equivalent).
• Assist in developing and supporting implementation of guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain awareness of pending legislation and regulatory mandates, develop compliance approaches and communicate through the Corporate Safety Support Team.
• Work with Management on regulatory complaints and coordinate with Corporate Safety Support Staff on legal/regulatory agency issues.
