Job summary

Socket.dev seeks an experienced Senior Project Engineer/Manager for EPC Portfolio Performance & Analytics to lead portfolio reporting, KPI development, and data governance across engineering, procurement, and construction. You will drive dashboards, executive reports, and data quality initiatives, collaborating with Project Directors, PMs, and IT teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Analytics, Project Management, or related field.
MBA or Master's degree preferred.
PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Power BI certifications preferred.
7+ years of experience in engineering, project management, project controls, project performance, or related functions.
Experience supporting large EPC projects and developing executive-level performance reporting.
Strong background in data analytics, KPI development, and business intelligence solutions.
Preferred experience with AI or digital reporting solutions.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, data visualization, KPI management, portfolio performance reporting, forecasting, and data governance.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance portfolio performance dashboards and executive reporting tools.
Establish and manage standardized project KPIs and reporting methodologies.
Analyze trends related to cost, schedule, staffing, productivity, risk, change management, quality, and project execution.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reviews and prepare executive-level performance presentations.
Maintain key project personnel, project details, and pricing information across the Power EPC portfolio.
Establish and enforce project data governance standards, reporting procedures, and data quality requirements.
Develop automated dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and related BI platforms.
Serve as the organization's SME for project performance metrics and reporting.
