Job summary

BIC Recruiting is seeking an EPC Account Director for the South Carolina region. The role focuses on originating and closing large, complex, high-value transactions with major construction, industrial, and infrastructure customers.

The candidate will lead negotiations, cultivate executive relationships, and coordinate internal resources to deliver profitable, multi-year agreements. Travel is extensive.

Qualifications

• 15–25 years of progressive experience in outside sales, strategic account management, or business development in construction equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Established network in construction equipment and related industries to generate new business.
• Proven track record of sourcing and closing large, complex transactions.
• Strong executive presence with C-suite and senior decision-makers.
• Deep understanding of deal structuring, terms, and negotiation for large, integrated packages.
• Ability to learn applicable regulations and navigate diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Originate and close large, complex new business opportunities via an established network within the construction equipment industry.
• Act as rainmaker, cultivating and converting major growth opportunities to grow revenue and market share.
• Build senior-level relationships with owners, principals, and decision-makers at major organizations.
• Develop and execute strategic territory/account plans focused on marquee accounts and multi-year agreements.
• Lead structuring, negotiation, and closing of large contracts spanning multiple business lines.
• Coordinate internal resources (operations, finance, legal, credit) to build proposals.
• Cross-sell and integrate products and services to maximize share of wallet.
• Analyze market conditions and customer capital plans to forecast opportunities.
