NTM Engineering seeks an Environmental Discipline Director to lead the Environmental Division, directing growth, client engagement, and market expansion. You will oversee QA/QC standards to ensure technical excellence across projects and provide mentorship to staff while managing complex programs with budgets and schedules.

This role requires extensive regulatory knowledge and proven leadership in delivering projects, developing business, and governing multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 20+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting, engineering, regulatory compliance, or related technical discipline.
• Proven leadership overseeing environmental operations, staff development, strategic planning, and growth.
• Demonstrated success in project delivery, client relationship management, business development, and revenue generation.
• Required professional certifications relevant to environmental practice and leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting, compliance requirements, engineering principles, and industry best practices.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills to build consensus.
• Active participation and leadership within professional organizations and industry associations.
• Ability to travel as needed to support clients, projects, business development, and industry engagement.

Responsabilités

• Lead growth and strategic direction of the Environmental Division through business development, client engagement, and market expansion.
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control standards to ensure technical excellence and delivery.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and staff development opportunities.
• Manage complex projects, including scope, budget, schedule, client coordination, and execution.
• Collaborate with operations and marketing leadership to achieve business and performance goals.
• Support staffing, resource planning, and workload management across the discipline.
• Advise executive leadership on industry trends, technical matters, and strategic opportunities.
