Job summary

Navigate Search seeks a Senior Environmental Professional to lead environmental consulting projects from field investigations through final reporting. The role suits an experienced Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Geotechnical Professional with regulatory expertise and strong client interaction.

You will manage field teams, oversee budgets and schedules, and contribute to business development while performing a mix of office-based project management and hands-on field work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Geology.
• 10–15+ years of environmental consulting or related experience.
• PE or PG license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with Wisconsin/Illinois environmental regulations.
• Strong understanding of ESAs, field investigations, remediation and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing medium to large environmental projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Manage medium to large environmental projects from planning through completion.
• Lead field investigations and prepare Phase I/II ESAs.
• Coordinate field teams and subcontractors; manage budgets and schedules.
• Prepare technical reports and regulatory compliance documents.
• Support client development and business growth.
