Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead NEPA documentation, environmental permitting, and related studies within our Environmental and Regulatory Team. You will manage projects from routing to construction compliance while guiding staff and collaborating with engineers and scientists.

You will coordinate permitting strategies, oversee QA/QC, and mentor junior staff. Occasional travel to client meetings and field sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field or experience.
• 10+ years of related ecological/cultural resource surveys, NEPA planning, and permitting.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and estimating/scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Senior Project Manager for environmental permitting, NEPA documentation, and studies.
• Lead teams through environmental processes for assessment and permitting.
• Develop client relationships and identify new opportunities in power and transportation markets.
