Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior Environmental and Permitting leader to review and implement federal, state, and local environmental regulations across electric power and industrial projects. In this role you will also support growth by leading business development efforts, expanding client relationships, and mentoring staff.

You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, engage with regulators and stakeholders, and help position the firm for a broader environmental services footprint in the power

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; MS preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in environmental compliance, impact assessment, and/or permitting.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary power-industry projects across teams and regulators.
• Proven ability to grow client relationships and contribute to proposals.
• Familiarity with NEPA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and RCRA.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and expand environmental services footprint.
• Manage complex multi-disciplinary power industry projects, coordinating with clients and agencies.
• Oversee environmental impact studies and permitting activities.
• Mentor junior environmental staff and promote knowledge sharing.
• Engage with clients, landowners, and stakeholders to shape win themes.
